Daily Itinerary

1. Los Angeles (Anaheim) to San Diego Day 1 Hotel

   Meet up with your Contiki Crew and head south to San Diego. You’ll check out Tijuana in Mexico, on the other side of the world’s busiest border crossing before enjoying the Gaslamp Quarter’s lively nightlife.

2. San Diego Day 2 Hotel

   Today discover what “America’s Finest City” has to offer – 70 miles of beaches, a world famous zoo, sailors, surfers, shopping, and not to mention some of the world's finest weather. (B)

3. San Diego to Phoenix Day 3 Hotel

   Leave the beach behind and head toward Phoenix, a metropolitan desert oasis. Spend the night in the hip college town of Tempe. (B)

4. Phoenix to the Grand Canyon Day 4 Cabin

   From the ‘Valley of the Sun’ journey to the majestic Grand Canyon with a stop in idyllic Sedona, nestled in ‘red-rock country.’ (B,D)

5. Grand Canyon National Park Day 5 Cabin

   Hike, walk, or take an optional flight for an up close and personal experience with this phenomenal natural wonder. (B)

6. Grand Canyon to Las Vegas Day 6 Hotel

   Get your kicks on Route 66 as you head toward the bright lights of Las Vegas. (D)

7. Las Vegas Day 7 Hotel

   It’s all glitz and glamour as you hang out on the ‘Strip’, relax by the pool, or hit up Sin City’s flashiest party hot spots. (B)

8. Las Vegas to Yosemite Gateway Day 8 Hotel

   Say goodbye to the party in the desert and hello to the adventures awaiting you in the wilds of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. (D)

9. Yosemite National Park Day 9 Hotel

   Enjoy the diverse beauty of this treasured national park, from its mountains and meadows to its waterfalls, wildflowers, and world-famous rock formations, like El Capitan. Hike and bike around (weather permitting) to soak it all up. (B)

10. Yosemite Gateway to San Francisco Day 10

    Head down out of the mountains and sightsee the rollicking ‘City by the Bay’. This afternoon the tour ends and it’s time to say farewell to your new friends. (B)
