London to MunichWe leave London in the afternoon to begin our journey to Munich. We drive through the night to arrive in Munich mid-morning on Day 2 to be greeted by your Contiki representatives and a cooked breakfast. Some time to freshen up before our first view of Munich on our included orientation tour. This evening, why not head to the famous Oktoberfest grounds?
MunichSpend the day exploring the Oktoberfest beer halls - each one serving a different local Bavarian beer. Also, an opportunity to try traditional German foods such as pork knuckle, roast chicken, pretzels or oxen!
MunichThis morning, a chance for those who wish to visit one of Hitler's concentration camps as we take an included excursion to Dachau. Afterwards, spend your final afternoon at the Oktoberfest grounds enjoying the festival atmosphere and perhaps try the funfair rides that become an important part of the festival.
Munich to LondonWe leave Munich early this morning to arrive back in London at approximately 10:00pm.
